NASA’s Astronauts and Scientists tell their boss to shut up about Global Warming LIE!

Posted: April 11, 2012 in Uncategorized

Well, that didn’t take long eh?….only a few years of never ending BS Global Warming screeching by a bunch of politically motivated idiots buying into a fake non scientific alarm about how we are all going to burst into flames at any minute if we don’t stop breathing! David Suzuki will probably start crying over this!

Astronauts and scientists tell NASA: Stop global warming advocacy  Update:

Here’s the reply from the head of NASA to the letter from the Astronauts and Scientists yesterday…..these guys just can’t give up with the Global Warming Scam!

UPDATE:

NASA Abdalati’s Response To 50 Esteemed Professionals Is Managerial Negligence – An Embarrassment

By P Gosselin on 12. April 2012

NASA chief scientist Waleed Abdalati has issued a response to the letter of protest from 50 former esteemed scientists, engineers and astronauts. Unfortunately, his response only adds to NASA’s embarrassment.

Abdalati’s dismissal without due-process investigation is premature and reckless. (Photo: Wikipedia)

Normally when a professional organisation gets a high level complaint from such a number of esteemed members, the first step is confirm and to look into it seriously. Something like: “Thanks – we’ve received your complaint; we’ll look into it and get back to you”.

Apparently the chief of NASA no longer bothers taking the precaution of following up and investigating high-gravity issues from within. He just dismisses them off the bat. Not only is this inappropriate, but it is also reckless managerial behavior.

Abdalati has failed to exercise due diligence in the face of a serious matter.

Here’s NASA’s “us-against-them” response:

NASA sponsors research into many areas of cutting-edge scientific inquiry, including the relationship between carbon dioxide and climate. As an agency, NASA does not draw conclusions and issue ‘claims’ about research findings. We support open scientific inquiry and discussion.”.…………………………… READ THE REST HERE

HOUSTON, TX – April 10, 2012

Joint letter from 49 former NASA scientists and astronauts, which includes seven Apollo astronauts and two former directors of NASA’s Johnson Space Center in Houston, asks the current NASA Administrator to refrain from including unproven and unsupported remarks about global warming:

“With hundreds of well-known climate scientists and tens of thousands of other scientists publicly declaring their disbelief in the catastrophic forecasts, coming particularly from the GISS leadership, it is clear that the science is NOT settled.

March 28, 2012

The Honorable Charles Bolden, Jr. NASA Administrator NASA Headquarters Washington, D.C. 20546-0001

Dear Charlie,

We, the undersigned, respectfully request that NASA and the Goddard Institute for Space Studies (GISS) refrain from including unproven remarks in public releases and websites.

We believe the claims by NASA and GISS, that man-made carbon dioxide is having a catastrophic impact on global climate change are not substantiated, especially when considering thousands of years of empirical data.

With hundreds of well-known climate scientists and tens of thousands of other scientists publicly declaring their disbelief in the catastrophic forecasts, coming particularly from the GISS leadership, it is clear that the science is NOT settled.

The unbridled advocacy of CO2 being the major cause of climate change is unbecoming of NASA’s history of making an objective assessment of all available scientific data prior to making decisions or public statements.

As former NASA employees, we feel that NASA’s advocacy of an extreme position, prior to a thorough study of the possible overwhelming impact of natural climate drivers is inappropriate.

We request that NASA refrain from including unproven and unsupported remarks in its future releases and websites on this subject. At risk is damage to the exemplary reputation of NASA, NASA’s current or former scientists and employees, and even the reputation of science itself.

For additional information regarding the science behind our concern, we recommend that you contact Harrison Schmitt or Walter Cunningham, or others they can recommend to you.

Thank you for considering this request.

Sincerely,

(Attached signatures)
