The reality of Ontario’s Green Energy..only the rich can afford to power their homes!

Posted: February 24, 2012 in Uncategorized

The signs are everywhere these days that the Green Energy Act in Ontario that came into effect in May 2009 would create “Energy Poverty” for millions of Ontarians.

For years these warnings have been blasted from the blogosphere but have not been “touched” by one single mass media outlet. Hydro Bills have increased steadily to the point that people are now shivering in the dark instead of heating their homes to a comfort level that all once grew accustomed to. People are washing their clothes at midnight because of the idiocy of the Smart Meter Program rammed down their throats by this “Green Government”!

Maybe it will take a massive power outage to even make people “blink” for once and see how much serious harm has been done by an uncaring and single minded Government body that couldn’t give a damn that they have made a huge mistake by pursuing a lost cause called “Renewable Energy”!

Well, here’s that massive reality check!………….and while you read this understand that all the Greenies hold Germany up as their “poster child” for all that’s good with Green Energy!!!!!

Under the feed-in act, power companies are forced to buy up the expensive renewable energy from producers and pay them exorbitant tariffs. This has driven Germany’s electricity prices up and has made them among the most expensive in the world. So much so, that many can no longer pay for it.
