That didn’t take long!…………………10 years+?

This rogue Government has basically “had it their way” for so long that the citizenry almost got used to being managed like a “Banana Republic”!

Maybe this latest public announcement that Mike Harris is still responsible for the high electricity rates and we should all cut back on our use to improve our Hydro Bill totals, even though that doesn’t help because mots of the charges have nothing to do with the actual electricity we use, is the “straw that broke the camel’s back”!

I assume Chiarelli and Wynne must KNOW that most Ontarians are EDUCATED, even though their “spin-meisters” who concoct these ridiculous announcements may not, one can’t listen to this drivel any more without knowing these words they preach are INSULTING!

Simple fact: Ontario hasn’t been a Democracy for a very very long time!

Democracy doesn’t seem to exist in Ontario anymore

TORONTO – Witness 73 testified at the committee probing the gas plants cancellations Tuesday.

If that sounds a tad Orwellian, it’s nothing compared to the perversion of democracy that’s happened in this province.

Witness 73 is Premier Kathleen Wynne, who returned for a second time to tell the committee she knew nothing, and was not briefed before she signed a “walk-around” order cancelling the Mississauga gas plant in October 2011.

You thought you elected a government to make rational decisions?

Here’s how it worked.

Four cabinet ministers signed an order without being fully briefed about the consequences of what they signed — and it ended up costing you $1.1 billion. Makes you wonder what else they did on the back of a napkin. Ornge? eHealth?

The Green Energy Act — which is responsible for racking up your hydro bills and forcing manufacturers out of this province? Was that a walk-around?

Wynne said over and over that they should have consulted with the communities before siting the Oakville and Mississauga plants.

How much are they listening to the people in rural Ontario who’ve told the Liberals over and over that they don’t want turbines? Not at all.

Apparently Wynne knew nothing about the OPP visit to her office (in a tweet, I used the word “raid” referring to it, which her office promptly called “misinformation”).

OK, so presumably there was tea and muffins. Who knows? Maybe the premier baked the anti-rackets squad some of her famous ginger snap cookies when they came a-calling.

This is the same Liberal Party where senior staff in former premier Dalton McGuinty’s office deleted all their e-mails as they left the building.

This is the party that said it would cost $40 million to scrap the gas plants. It cost $1.1 billion.

Now they’re preaching good government?

What would they know about it?

We don’t have democracy here. There’s been a coup.

Forget elections.

A bunch of leftists meet at Starbucks, read the dregs of their fashionably low-fat lattes and decide who’s going to be the mayor, premier, whatever, today.

Earlier in the day, Wynne met with Toronto Councillor Norm Kelly.

I am not clear what his title is. Some say he’s the “deputy mayor.”

Some were calling him the “representative of council.”

What I do know is that he’s not the mayor.

This is a standard type government pseudo protest site. Nice work! Well-designed.
