If your Municipality has a “active Planner” working there…you must hear THIS!

Posted: June 4, 2012 in Uncategorized

Most small Rural Municipalities have some concerns with their Council Members and their “decision making processes” that seem to be diminishing your quality of life and land values along with the Industrialization of their Communities!

Did you ever think that a Planning Officer had some input into these controversial decisions?

A rather “sublime” title of “Planning Officer” seems to be a good fit when municipal legislation is passed in the form of By Laws and one would think that they “need” a Planner who will define a fair and equitable translation of those By-Laws so that they would benefit “tax payers” and “landowners” in a fair and professional manner.

Here’s the truth! Neither are they fair and equitable but could be at the root of the Provincial push to ruin and destroy the character and quality of life among the Ontario Rural Communities!

What would happen IF a Planning Officer was actually implementing Provincial agendas instead of Citizen’s agendas in the management of your Municipality.

It appears that is exactly what is happening right across the board in Ontario today and yet WE are paying these people to ruin our lives and livelihoods!

Listen to the first “inside story” from a Professional Planner who has decided she didn’t like what she saw and decided to do something about it!
