Green “pigs at the tax payers trough” desperate to save their Green Scam………..

McGuinty has played his hand in trying to get Ottawa to bail out his Green Energy disaster by insulting Alberta’s Oil Sands and making stupid statements that Ontario’s massive debt and ruinous collapse of Industry is directly due to the Oil Industry’s influence on the rising Canadian Dollar!

McGuinty has given the Environmental Non Governmental Organizations another breath of “BS Life” in the obvious “death throes” of this “treasonous pack of outsiders” who try desperately to destroy Canada’s ability to create jobs and wealth for Canadians from our Natural Resources development. Instead they want their Green Partners who they lobby for, to keep their taxpayers handouts (subsidies) that McGuinty has handed out to them for up to 20 years and beyond in FIT Contracts.

So here we have one such ENGO (not for profit…..RIGHT!) trying their best to prop up McGuinty’s last stab at screwing his citizenry out of their hard earned $$$!

Environmental Defence launches campaign to defeat wind moratorium bill

Non-government “environmental” group Environmental Defence has launched a campaign to enlist the public in a letter writing campaign to Ontario MPPs asking them to reject the private member’s bill being proposed by Huron-Bruce MPP Lisa Thompson, on March 8th.

Blasting “anti-wind” groups for scaring people about “the unknown,” Environmental Defence then goes on to claim that wind power in Ontario is among the safest and cleanest options for power, and that it will bring hundreds of jobs to the province.

“None of that is true,” says Wind Concerns Ontario president Jane Wilson. “And it’s not us saying that–it’s Ontario’s Auditor General. There was never any business case study done for wind power in Ontario. It doesn’t reduce greenhouse gas emissions, it’s extraordinarily expensive, it is harming people and reducing property values. The majority of any jobs created will be short-term construction jobs. The truth is, wind power doesn’t live up to a single one of its promises.”

Environmental Defence is one of several organizations that subsist on money from funds such as the Trillium Foundation and support from wind developers, and may have a vested interest in seeing the wind power “gold rush” continue, says WCO.
